On June 28, 2019, the seminar on valve flow resistance index and energy efficiency evaluation standard, the theme activity of "green development, energy saving first" of 2019 national energy conservation week, hosted by Shanghai Municipal Quality Inspection Institute, was held in Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center.
At the meeting, experts from the Institute of mechanical and electrical engineering of Shanghai Municipal Quality Inspection Institute introduced the flow resistance index and energy efficiency evaluation standard of valves (check valves), which stipulated the energy efficiency rating, energy-saving evaluation value and test method of common check valves, aiming to test the flow resistance performance of common check valves in water system, compile the energy efficiency grade and evaluation method of check valves, and improve the index of pressure loss of check valves. The standard puts forward the energy-saving concept of check valve energy efficiency grade and evaluation method, which fills the gap in China's valve energy-saving index. It will be of positive significance to promote the adjustment of product structure, promote the technical progress of the industry, and promote energy-saving and emission reduction products, and lay the foundation for the energy-saving and emission reduction transformation of Shanghai water system in the future.
Zhang Juntao, Deputy Secretary General of China Energy Conservation Association, pointed out at the meeting that valve energy conservation has always been the focus of the industry, and valve flow resistance index and energy efficiency evaluation are important breakthroughs in the field of valve energy conservation. He suggested that all parties participating in the meeting cooperate with China energy conservation association to raise the standard to the group standard. In addition, fluid Research Institute of Jiangsu University gave a detailed description of valve fluid resistance analysis. Representatives of main drafting units such as Guanlong valve, taoning valve and China valve holdings introduced the significance of standard drafting and the development status of valves.
More than 30 people attended the meeting, including representatives from China Energy Conservation Association, Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center, fluid Research Institute of Jiangsu University, Qizhen standard company and valve manufacturers.
